　　Currently, Wuhan City is prioritizing the resumption of work and production—while ensuring both epidemic prevention and control and safe production—in enterprises and projects located in the three national-level development zones and four new urban districts. On March 19, Wang Zhonglin, a member of the Standing Committee of the Hubei Provincial Party Committee and Secretary of the Wuhan Municipal Party Committee, conducted a field visit to the East Lake New Technology Development Zone to inspect the resumption of work and production efforts, listened firsthand to suggestions and opinions, and provided assistance to enterprises facing difficulties in resuming operations. He emphasized: “We must thoroughly implement the spirit of the meeting of the Standing Committee of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee held on March 18. We need to remain confident, enhance our sense of urgency, and steadily advance the resumption of work and production while continuing to maintain rigorous, meticulous, and comprehensive epidemic prevention and control measures without any relaxation.”

　　Wang Zhonglin, a member of the Standing Committee of the Hubei Provincial Party Committee and Secretary of the Wuhan Municipal Party Committee, visited Renfu Pharmaceutical Group’s Renfu Puke Pharmaceutical (Wuhan) Co., Ltd. There, he engaged in a candid conversation with the company’s leaders, expressing, on behalf of the municipal Party committee and government, gratitude for the strong support provided by private entrepreneurs to Wuhan’s epidemic prevention and control efforts. He also took a keen interest in understanding the challenges and difficulties faced by the company as it strives to balance epidemic prevention and control with resuming production and operations. Ai Luming, Chairman of Dangdai Group and founder of Renfu Pharmaceutical Group, briefed Secretary Wang Zhonglin on the group’s and its subsidiaries’ active participation in the city-wide, provincial, and nationwide fight against the epidemic during the pandemic. He reported on the company’s epidemic prevention and control measures, its operational and production performance during the pandemic, and its ongoing gradual resumption of work and production.

　　Secretary Wang Zhonglin said, “We’re already seeing the dawn of victory in the defense of Wuhan. I hope everyone will continue to exert their efforts on the front line of economic development, driving innovation, entrepreneurship, and wealth creation.” He reminded relevant departments to proactively visit enterprises more often, deliver policies directly to their doors, address practical difficulties, help small, medium, and micro-sized enterprises ‘stay afloat,’ assist supporting enterprises in industrial chains ‘remain in place,’ and bolster industries that have emerged as a result of epidemic prevention and control measures ‘become stronger.’
