Deng Renjie Conducts a Survey of Renfu Pharmaceutical

On October 23, Deng Renjie, Deputy General Manager of China Merchants Group and Chairman of China Merchants Innovation & Technology, visited the headquarters of Renfu Pharmaceutical, Huanggang Renfu, Wuhan Puke, and the Hubei Renfu Logistics Center to conduct a detailed investigation into the companies’ development status.

At the headquarters of Renfu Pharmaceutical, Deng Renjie listened to a briefing from Renfu Pharmaceutical on its industrial layout, scientific research and innovation, international development, Party building, cultural integration, and key work plans. Deng Renjie fully affirmed the achievements Renfu Pharmaceutical has made in business development and in accelerating its integration into the China Merchants Group system. He stated that the China Merchants Group will transform Renfu Pharmaceutical into the Group’s core platform for life sciences and a unified platform for the development of the biopharmaceutical industry, and will provide strong support to help the company become stronger, better, and bigger.

Regarding the next stage of development for Renfu Pharmaceutical, he pointed out that: First, we must thoroughly implement the spirit of the Fourth Plenary Session of the 20th Central Committee of the Party and carefully formulate the company’s “15th Five-Year” plan. From a strategic perspective, we should further strengthen our efforts in areas such as R&D innovation, endogenous growth, reform of management and control models, enhancement of headquarters capabilities, and Party building. Second, we must focus on cultivating “two growth curves,” continuously consolidating and reinforcing our competitive advantages in core business areas. Third, we need to significantly increase investment in R&D, optimize and restructure our R&D system, bolster our team of scientific research talent, continuously improve R&D efficiency, and build a new Renfu—one that is more dynamic and innovative, achieves leapfrog development through standardized, efficient, and empowering management—and thus contribute Renfu’s strength to fully accelerating the China Merchants Group’s “Third Entrepreneurship.”

At Huanggang Renfu, Deng Renjie listened to a briefing on the company’s integrated and coordinated operations in the areas of active pharmaceutical ingredients and finished dosage forms. He emphasized the importance of adhering to a development path characterized by “high-end, green, intelligent, and international” approaches, continuously enhancing industrial competitiveness, promoting intelligent transformation of production processes and management systems, and achieving strategic breakthroughs in quality, scale, and efficiency.

At Wuhan Puke, Deng Renjie listened to a briefing on the company’s international business expansion and other related matters. He expressed his hope that the company would continue to deepen its international development, shorten the distance between the enterprise and the market, integrate more fully into local communities, and achieve localized innovation in both products and services.

At the Hubei Renfu Logistics Center, Deng Renjie listened to a briefing on the company’s pharmaceutical commercial distribution model and urged the company to actively explore innovations in its business model, continuously optimize supply chain management, enhance operational efficiency and service quality, leverage technology for smart development, increase investment in the modernization and digitalization of its logistics system, and build a leading, intelligent pharmaceutical supply chain service platform in the industry.
