Miao Jianmin Attends the Renfu Pharmaceutical Cadre Conference

On August 5, Miao Jianmin, Chairman of China Merchants Group, attended and delivered a speech at the cadre conference of Renfu Pharmaceutical. The meeting was chaired by Zhang Junli, Assistant to the General Manager and Secretary of the Board of Directors of China Merchants Group, as well as Director of the Group’s Office.
Before the meeting, Miao Jianmin held a welcome meeting with the leadership team of Renfu Pharmaceutical, expressing gratitude to all previous leadership teams for their contributions to the company’s past development. At the meeting, Liu Yongxiang, Deputy Director of the Organization Department of the Party Committee of China Merchants Group, read out the appointment documents for the Party Secretary, Deputy Party Secretary, and members of the Party Committee of Renfu Pharmaceutical. Deng Weidong, Chairman of Renfu Pharmaceutical, Huang Xiaohua, Party Secretary, and Du Wentao, General Manager, delivered statements. Deng Weidong presented commemorative gifts to Zhou Hansheng, Li Jie, and Deng Xiafei—three former leaders of Renfu Pharmaceutical.
In his speech, Miao Jianmin pointed out that today marks a milestone in Renfu Pharmaceutical’s 32-year development journey—the company has officially joined the China Merchants Group family, embarking on a new journey of high-quality development. Renfu Pharmaceutical is a “benchmark enterprise” in Hubei’s biopharmaceutical industry and a “golden brand” in China’s pharmaceutical sector. We must fully recognize and commend the remarkable achievements Renfu Pharmaceutical has made through its deep commitment to the pharmaceutical core business. China Merchants Group and China Merchants Capital have great confidence in Renfu Pharmaceutical and fully trust its existing team. We hope that all Renfu Pharmaceutical cadres and employees will continue their efforts with renewed vigor and perseverance, cherish the broad opportunities brought by China Merchants Group’s strategic holding, and, with even greater determination and enthusiasm, bravely shoulder heavy responsibilities and achieve outstanding results on this new journey.
Miao Jianmin emphasized that the current period—and the coming period—represents a critical phase of transformation and accelerated development for Renfu Pharmaceutical. The leadership team and all cadres and employees of Renfu Pharmaceutical must deeply study and thoroughly grasp the spirit of General Secretary Xi Jinping’s important discourses on the reform and development of state-owned enterprises and Party building. They must earnestly align their thinking and actions with the decisions and deployments of the Party Central Committee, and on this new historical starting point, drive Renfu Pharmaceutical to become stronger, better, and bigger. First, we must thoroughly implement the “two consistent principles” and enhance our corporate governance level by upholding and strengthening the Party’s overall leadership. Second, we must adhere to the paramount importance of development and focus on key tasks for high-quality enterprise development by concentrating our efforts and building momentum. Third, we must accelerate our integration into the China Merchants Group’s corporate culture and achieve even greater success in the tide of the Group’s “Third Entrepreneurship.” As a member of the China Merchants Group—a century-old, comprehensive, and Hong Kong-based central enterprise—Renfu Pharmaceutical must further seize important opportunities, rally collective strength, and demonstrate its commitment and contribute its unique strengths to advancing the construction of a Healthy China.
Deng Weidong, General Manager of Zhaoshang Chuangke and Chairman of Renfu Pharmaceutical, Liu Zhenhua, Director of the Strategic Development Department/Department of Technological Innovation at China Merchants Group, and Nie Liming, Director of the Industrial Development Department/Department of Business Coordination at China Merchants Group, along with relevant officials from the Office, Human Resources Department of China Merchants Group and Zhaoshang Chuangke, attended the meeting and the conference. Members of the leadership team of Renfu Pharmaceutical and mid-to-senior-level cadres also participated in the conference.
