The “Forum on High-Quality Development of China’s Anesthesiology Discipline” Concludes Successfully | Chairman Li Jie Was Invited to Attend and Deliver a Special Report

From August 9 to 11, the “Embracing the Times and Forging Ahead—Forum on High-Quality Development of China’s Anesthesiology Discipline,” hosted by the Editorial Board of the International Journal of Anesthesia and Resuscitation and organized by the Fourth Affiliated Hospital of Harbin Medical University, was successfully held in Harbin, the “Ice City.” The conference was chaired by Professor Qi Sihua from the Department of Anesthesiology at the Fourth Affiliated Hospital of Harbin Medical University.
More than 40 renowned experts in the field of anesthesia, including Professors Zeng Yinming, Yu Buwei, Deng Xiaoming, Xiong Lizhe, Yu Weifeng, Miao Changhong, Yao Shanglong, Wang Tianlong, and Li Tianzuo, were invited to attend the conference. The participating experts engaged in in-depth discussions and shared insights on ten key topics, including China’s sustainable strategy for high-quality development of the anesthesia discipline, the development of core technologies in the field of anesthesiology, addressing bottlenecks and proposing countermeasures, building a robust talent pool for the anesthesia discipline, and examining the current status and challenges facing anesthesia departments in grassroots hospitals.
Li Jie, Chairman of Yichang Renfu Pharmaceutical, was invited to attend this conference and delivered a special report titled “A Brief Discussion on the International Expansion and Talent Development in the Field of Anesthesia and Pain Management.” In his report, Li Jie conducted an in-depth analysis of the necessity and feasibility of internationalizing both the discipline of anesthesia and pharmaceutical enterprises. Regarding the path to successful internationalization, Li Jie proposed adhering to the deep integration of academia, industry, and research within both disciplines and enterprises; accelerating innovation in product and clinical diagnostic and therapeutic technologies; and ensuring robust international market expansion coupled with consistent compliance. These efforts will collectively promote the international development of the anesthesia discipline. As for talent development, Li Jie emphasized the need to continue innovating talent cultivation models, supporting overseas exchanges, enhancing foreign language skills, and fully preparing an adequate pool of internationally qualified professionals.
Li Jie stated that in recent years, Yichang Renfu has taken firm steps toward internationalization by establishing an internationally-oriented R&D system, building a production and quality system that meets European and American standards, and developing a global marketing network.
