Recently, Yichang Renfu Pharmaceutical received the “Drug Registration Certificate” for enzalutamide soft capsules, approved and issued by the National Medical Products Administration. This product was approved as a Class 4 chemical drug and is considered to have passed the consistency evaluation, making it the company’s first approved anti-tumor therapeutic drug.
Enzalutamide is an androgen receptor inhibitor indicated for adult patients with non-metastatic castration-resistant prostate cancer (NM-CRPC) at high risk of metastasis, as well as for adult patients with metastatic castration-resistant prostate cancer (CRPC) who have failed androgen deprivation therapy (ADT) and are either asymptomatic or have mild symptoms and have not received chemotherapy.
This product will offer clinicians and patients a wider range of medication options, and it will be available for sale once the domestic patent for the originator drug expires.
