On October 27, Renfu Pharmaceutical, together with the Contemporary Public Welfare Foundation, the Zhuoer Public Welfare Foundation, and Aoshan Group, urgently mobilized 1,700 boxes containing over 330,000 pieces of anti-epidemic supplies to provide assistance to Ejin Banner. The supplies include oxygen concentrators, disposable medical masks, medical isolation gowns, disinfectants, disinfecting gels, and herbal remedies for epidemic prevention—all of which are urgently needed by the local community in Ejin Banner.

At 9 p.m., at the Hubei Gedian Renfu Pharmaceutical Excipients Co., Ltd., 330,000 pieces of epidemic prevention supplies were quickly sorted and loaded onto trucks by staff members. These supplies will be directly transported to Ejin Banner in Alxa League, where epidemic prevention materials are urgently needed. Xiao Liu, an employee from the equipment department at Hubei Gedian Renfu Pharmaceutical Excipients Co., Ltd., learned that these supplies needed to be dispatched urgently. He voluntarily gave up his scheduled shift and joined the team responsible for sorting and loading the supplies. Only after watching the truck loaded with epidemic prevention materials leave the factory did he finally breathe a sigh of relief. “During the difficult times when Wuhan was hit by the pandemic last year, it was the support from all over the country that helped us get through the crisis. As long as we work together with one heart, we will surely overcome the pandemic,” said Xiao Liu.

As the head of the company’s warehouse, Luo Yang has consistently remained on the front line, taking charge of directing and scheduling operations as well as loading supplies. During this time, her child called her again and again: “Mom, when are you coming home?” Although Luo Yang was deeply concerned about her child, she continued to diligently perform her own job while also actively helping others—labeling items and hanging banners. Her conscientious and responsible attitude has inspired those around her. Only after the supply-loading work was smoothly completed did she finally make her way home under the moonlight.

This donation of epidemic prevention supplies also stems from a special bond between the two regions. During the 2020 pandemic, 346 medical teams from across the country—comprising 42,600 medical personnel—donned their white coats and bravely set out against the tide to rush to Hubei’s aid. Among them, nine medical team members from Alxa League fearlessly stepped forward and volunteered for duty. While working at the makeshift hospitals in Wuhan, they raced against time, battled the virus head-on, and made significant contributions to epidemic prevention and control efforts in Hubei and Wuhan.

“The medical team from Alxa League has conveyed the deep and heartfelt bond of mutual support and solidarity between the people of the two regions, showcasing the noble spirit of medical professionals—compassion and boundless love—on the land of Jingchu. On the frontlines of the epidemic fight, they have demonstrated the powerful strength of unity and collective determination. In the face of the pandemic, no one is an onlooker. We hope that our efforts will contribute to Alxa League’s early victory over the epidemic,” said a relevant official from Renfu Pharmaceutical Group.

During the pandemic, Contemporary Group and Renfu Pharmaceutical, in collaboration with the Alashan SEE Ecological Association, actively fulfilled their corporate social responsibilities by participating enthusiastically in epidemic prevention and control efforts and providing support to frontline medical workers. Internally, they made multiple donations of money and supplies to Hubei Province and Wuhan City. Externally, they joined forces with various sectors of society to organize cross-border relief efforts. As of now, Renfu Pharmaceutical and its affiliated companies have cumulatively donated goods and funds worth over 40 million yuan, while their collaboration with Contemporary Group and partner enterprises has resulted in total donations exceeding 70 million yuan.
